FKA Twigs Poster Design

FKA Twigs is an English singer-songwriter who combines R&B music, art-pop, electronic, avant garde, and trip-hop. While designing this gig poster, I wanted to mimic her genre-bending talent by combining a collage of contradicting imagery that is both beautiful and disturbing. Flowers with eyes weave around the calligraphic typography, while butterflies and snakes conceal themselves.
